What vehicles are eligible for the complimentary maintenance plan?

All 2010 and 2011 Lincoln vehicles that are sold retail or lease within the program period are eligible.

Is there a deductible for the PMP or LMP?

There is $0 deductible for all maintenance plans.

How do I claim this complimentary maintenance plan?

The complimentary maintenance plan will be automatically claimed in VINCENT and the contract registered after the vehicle is reported sold. The dealer only needs to process the registration if the contract is upgraded. See upgrade instructions for more detail.

Can I upgrade this complimentary coverage to a longer time/mileage?

Yes. The contract can be upgraded to a PMP  that has greater time/mileage/frequency of maintenance intervals than the complimentary maintenance plan.  It is not possible to downgrade the PMP or upgrade to any plan besides a PMP. The customer will owe the cost difference between the PMP and the upgraded contract less the credit for the complimentary plan.

Do I receive bonus or penetration credit for this complimentary plan?

As these contracts are complimentary plans, they are not eligible for any incentive or bonus payments; however, upgrades are eligible for penetration and bonus.

Do I receive credit for ESP contest and incentives?

The complimentary maintenance contract does not count towards ESP incentives; however, upgrades will be eligible for ESP incentives.

How does the mileage interval work for maintenance plans?

The customer can use the service bundles from the complimentary maintenance plan at any timing within the plan's 3 years / 45,000 mile expiration; Lincoln recommends the normal maintenance schedule as listed in the owner's guide or GSM tool.

Is this coverage in addition to the one year Lincoln Complimentary Maintenance?

Yes, the customer will still automatically receive one year of Lincoln Complimentary Maintenance (2 services) with the additional 4 service bundles for the complimentary PMP or LMP expiring at the end of 3 years / 45,000 miles from the warranty start date. 

How do I know whether my customer qualifies for the PMP or LMP promotion?

Maintenance plans are based on dealer residency and not customer residency, so all dealers will offer the complimentary PMP regardless of customer state except for dealers in the state of New York will offer a complimentary LMP.
