Lincoln Earns Sales Increase in June

Recently Lincoln announced that the company had achieved a 17th straight month of increased sales, as June retail sales gained 11.3 percent over June 2016 sales numbers. Through the first six months of the year, Lincoln retail sales have improved 8.9 percent in a year-to-year comparison.

Customer demand for SUVs drove June's performance, as 2,304 Lincoln MKC vehicles were sold for a 15.8 percent gain. The Lincoln MKT improved sales 10.8 percent in the month, while the Lincoln Navigator earned a 6.3 percent increase and the Lincoln MKX gained 0.4 percent. In total, Lincoln SUV sales jumped 7.3 percent in June.

So far this year, Lincoln SUV sales are up 1.4 percent as the Lincoln MKC has improved 11.2 percent and the Lincoln MKX has gained 2.7 percent.

The all-new 2018 Lincoln Navigator, featuring a 3.5-liter engine and a 10-speed transmission, will be arriving at dealerships later this year.
