The Lincoln Motor Company enjoyed the luxury automotive segment's highest loyalty rate among new luxury vehicle buyers during the first quarter of 2017, according to data from IHS Markit. The company's success has been driven by the popularity of the Lincoln MKC, Lincoln MKX and Lincoln MKZ.

In a release, Kumar Galhotra, President, The Lincoln Motor Company, commented, “For Lincoln, it’s about providing quality vehicles and exemplary service. This tells us we’re moving in the right direction.”

Lincoln's focus on service is exemplified by their exclusive Pickup and Delivery Service, which now comes with every 2017 vehicle sold. This program provides a Lincoln Service Valet to pick up a client's vehicle for a service need from any location of the customer's choosing, deliver a complimentary Lincoln loaner for use during the service, and return of the freshly washed vehicle to the client's destination of choice once the service is completed.

Brand loyalty is established when a household that already owns a new vehicle returns and purchases or leases another new vehicle of the same model, make or manufacturer. The first quarter loyalty data was based on January through March 2017 loyalty analytics provided by IHS Markit. Lincoln sales have increased 6 percent this year, outperforming the luxury segment average of 2 percent.
